11:30. Light under-distance workout at Hayward. 3 x 800m [2:00] in 2:11.4, 2:12.4, 2:11.5. 4 x 400m [400m] in 62.1, 62.5, 61.6, 59.8. Felt relaxed, especially on the quarters. Minor soreness at the top of my left iliotibial band. Fifteen minute warmup, twenty minute cooldown.

19:00. Three mile shakeout after the Georgetown game.

9:15. Just over an hour with S. Jefferson. Reached a good pace by the end, felt great again. I chalk it up to waking up earlier (as in, more than fifteen minutes before setting out to run).

9:15. Eight mile pace run with Graham. 5:10, 5:11, 5:05, 4:58, 4:59, 4:5x, 4:5x, 4:58 for a total time of 40:28. Accounting for the turnaround, we probably ran eight seconds long. Felt good, but couldn't hang with Graham for the last mile. Ran faster than last week - and three miles farther.

18:30. Shakeout run with O'Brien, Graham and Miles. Legs are beginning to feel great.

9:15. Repeat kilometers at South Eugene. 3 x 1km @ 2:55, 2:55, 2:50 [2:30]; 5 x 1000m @ 2:47, 2:47, 2:45, 2:42, 2:42 [2:30]. Stopped after 800m of the last two intervals. Felt strong and fairly relaxed for the first time in a while.
